They are raid bosses with giga AOE clears. Use cultist master armor for even more damage. Thralls are fine. 1h mace is very effective weapon for them. If you want to let your thrall play the game for you you need to spec into Authority. 20 points authority and 19 corrupted let's you run 2 followers or one really strong follower.
took me forever to figure out the who/what, as the conan wiki led me in circles and dead ends. What I do is have 8 stacked compost bins with 1 compost each and let the grubs collect and then put them on the dedicated artisan bench with named tanner. Its slower than going out and collecting it, but its one less errand I have to run.
